4-5pm              Kid’s Event: “Diving for Science” 

                         with ADF&G Dive Technician, Jeff Meucci

                        @ state float plane dock – wear your PFD!

           

7-9pm              Keynote Presentation by Sitka Raptor Center and

                         “Fishes in the Forest: Impacts of Salmon on   

                         Songbirds” with Marlene Wagner

Friday, September 6

 

12:15-12:45     Brown Bag Talk:  “Field Sketching Techniques”

                        with Science Illustrator, Kristin Link

                        @ Assembly Chambers

 

2-4pm              Kid’s Event: “Making Rainforest Sketchbooks”

                        with Science Illustrator, Kristin Link

                        for kids grade 3 – 5, limit of 20, free

                        registration @ the Visitor's Center

6-8pm              Reception: Annabelle Baker Memorial Art Show

                        (7:15 pm poetry reading, 7:45 edible art auction closes)

                        limit of 10, material fee $5

1-4pm           Adult art class: “Botanical Illustration”

                        with Science Illustrator, Kristin Link

                        for adults 16+, limit of 15, $35

                        ($30 per class when pre-paying for BOTH classes)
